MAY: THE MONTH OF FESTS

So we have now been booked for our third fest in the month of May. We were squeezed onto the Midwest Hellfest Pre-Show the day before (Thursday the 12th). We are really stoked to play! Also we have been added to Forward Ohio fest which will be in Athens and is being run by Ray who previously put on all of the For Real Fests. This should be great.

Alpinist/Masakari Split LP and Eden Compromised Repress

So we have just begun discussing the particulars for the split and we have to say we are getting super excited about it. We are in the middle of writing. We have completed about 3 new songs and are in the middle of about 2 or 3 more. The new batches of songs are by far the best songs we have written as a band. It will hopefully be out by June of 2011 on Alerta Antifascista and a US pressing by Halo of Flies sometime after!

Other news: Eden Compromised is going to be repressed for anyone who couldn't get a copy of it the first time. It is going to have a brand new cover and 3 different color options. This press will be out of 300 (100 of each color). We are really excited. The press should be done by the end of the week and then we have to work out getting the packaging sorted out. More info as it comes. It will be available through Halo of Flies. Halooffliesrecords.com

Tours

Just a little update:

We are currently writing for two upcoming releases in 2011 and planning for touring next year. Right now we have confirmed a European Tour (Alerta Antifascista Booking) in July 2011 - August 2011. We plan to hit the West Coast US immediately following in August.

As for the East Coast: We plan on playing various cities on the East Coast starting in November so keep an eye out for that.

Also we will be playing Maryland Deathfest 2011 in May.

The Prophet Feeds and Beyond!

First of all a big thanks to everyone who has bought, listened, reviewed and blogged/forumed about the record. We are so pleased with the response that we have received and also excited about the future. If you still need a copy you can get one from either of our labels LP: Halo of Flies, Alerta Antifascista, Contrastz! and Scarecrow CD: Southern Lord.

We have only two shows planned for the rest of the summer, one in Cleveland and one in Pittsburgh.

The Cleveland Date is at Gomorrah with Zann (DE), Black Kites and Antilles August 30th
The Pittsburgh Date is still TBA August 28th

We have a show in September with Enabler booked as well. After these shows and a weekend with our friends Homewrecker (October) we are probably going to be taking some time off to write for our up-coming releases, more info as it comes!. We can just tell you that everything we have planned right now looks amazing. We can't wait to record again.
